   My name is Joshua Allen, and I am the boss of Hardwood Floors Inc. I’m a 16 year veteran of the wood flooring industry and trained in and practice the arts of: custom flooring, staircase installation, floor repair, refinishing, floor tiling, and mouldings. When on the job, you may notice me playfully interacting with the other guys, but when it comes to the work itself, I am strictly business. I’m not saying that mistakes aren’t going to happen, but I do promise that I will not rest until my customers are completely satisfied. I was present for all of the jobs and performed much of the work you see in the pictures on this website, but it also helps to have good workers behind you too. I’m happy to say that I have some of the best in the business working with me.

My interests include sports, fishing, and video games. I am a loyal fan of the Washington Redskins. I grew up watching them, and I’m sure them will be a great team again soon. I have been an Orlando Magic fan since the beginning of the franchise. Basketball used to be my game, but as I get older, I don’t find myself playing as much. I play golf on occasion, and though I’m not that good, I have had some moments of greatness. I enjoy fishing  freshwater, saltwater, the intercoastals and deep sea. I have been known to stay up a little too late playing first person shooter games on the PS3.

   I contribute regularly to the FHP missing childrens fund and the Shriners Hospital for children. As a father who lost a son to sids and has a daughter who was diagnosed with autism, I know that life can throw you a few curveballs, so I try to do what I can to help out those in need.
